Location, just 15m from metro station. Short walkable distance to all main tourist places: Sol, Plaza Major, Royal Paclace etc.

Beware: some rooms facing Gran Via which means it's pretty noisy by night, well personally I didn't mind at all, afterall Gran Via is a main street of Madrid so you shoud expect noise, horns and sirens. So either do not stay at Gran Via or order other room if possible.

Standard rooms not good enough for a 4 star hotel. Despite double windows it was still very noisy!

The room was luxurious and clean

Two things I didn't like about the hotel; first one was the room was extremely noisy being located facing the main road and the window did not block the noise.All night long all I was hearing sirens of police cars and ambulances which was nerve recking. The second thing I didn't like about the hotel was the limitation of English channels on tv; only cnn and sky News.

Nothing special about this hotel, but possibly during the summer months the roof pool facility would make this hotel attractive. ( the pool was closed during my visit) Very good location.

This hotel lacked a proper bar facility. The rooms are very noisy from both internal and external perspectives . The rooms in my opinion need upgrading. ( I changed rooms after my first night)

central location

The roof top pool, which is what attracted us to book this hotel, was exceptionally cold even though the weather was hot during our stay. Other guests also complained about this; the pool was almost always empty demonstrating that guests weren't happy. 2 other hotels on this holiday in Seville and Granada, both had unheated roof top pools but were very pleasent not iced like at Emperador.
